Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
Hisaab Kitab (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is operated by AQSA Cloud DI Khan. This policy explains what information the mobile app and cloud portal collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
- Business data you enter: products, sales, purchases, customers, suppliers, expenses, accounts, stock, and reports stored on your device and optionally synced to our servers when you use cloud login.
- Account credentials: email address and password for cloud registration; a local PIN for daily staff access on the device.
- Device identifiers: used for licensing, sync, and push notifications (where enabled).
- Support contact: if you email us, we receive the content of your message.
- Crash diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics may collect anonymized crash logs on Android to improve stability.
2. How we use information
- Provide POS, inventory, accounting, and sync features you request.
- Authenticate users, enforce subscription/trial access, and protect against abuse.
- Send optional push notifications related to your business (e.g. low stock) when enabled.
- Improve app reliability and support.
3. Local storage and backups
Most business data is stored locally in a database on your phone or computer. Backup ZIP files you create contain your full database. You are responsible for storing backups securely. We recommend device encryption and keeping backups private.
4. Cloud sync
When you sign in with a cloud account, selected business data is transmitted over HTTPS to our servers to enable multi-device sync and portal management. You can continue using the app offline; sync occurs when connectivity is available.
5. Third-party services
- Hosting and API on AQSA Cloud infrastructure.
- Firebase (Google) for messaging and crash reporting where enabled.
- Optional AI voice features may send transcribed commands to configured AI providers when you enable and supply an API key.
6. Data retention
Cloud data is retained while your subscription or trial is active and as needed for legal or billing purposes. Local data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear data. You may request account assistance by contacting support.
7. Security
We use HTTPS for cloud communication, secure token storage on mobile, and access controls in the business portal. No system is perfectly secure; protect your PIN, passwords, and backup files.
8. Children
The service is intended for business operators and is not directed at children under 13.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
